Ravato set for Bouma Falls
‘I love working in the tourism Industry because I meet people from all over the world.’
Fiji has a lot to offer to the tourists who flock into the country, says Waisea Ravato.
The 33-year-old Narewa, Nadi native has 10 years of experience in the tourism industry.
He worked at the Malolo Island Resort as a food and beverage attendant for a year. Also at the Fiji Gateway for six months before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
He now works for the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa since December 2021 as a Food and Beverage Attendant.
He also became the relieving Food and Beverage Coordinator for two months and was given the opportunity to become a guest service agent looking after their VIP.
“I love working in the tourism Industry because I meet people from all over the world,” said Mr Ravato.
Mr Ravato attended Nadi Primary School before joining Nadi College. He did a few hospitality courses at the Fiji National University.

What is your favourite backyard spot? the mango tree to distress, with smoke or coffee.
What is one place in Fiji on your bucket list?
Bouma waterfall in Taveuni. I have heard stories and seen pictures of such a breathtaking view. I am surely going there this December.
Your favourite coffee/pie spot?
Zig Zag Café in Nadi for coffee and they also serve nice chicken wrap.
