South Islander offloads cargo

Cargo ship South islander called into Port of Suva last week on June 20 to offload cargo.

The vessel’s sailing route included Japan, Port of Noumea, Port of Suva, Port of Lautoka and Pago Pago Port.

The 18100 gross tonnage vessel is amongst 20 container vessels that is scheduled to arrive this month.

South islander also called into Port Vila and Port of Santo, Vanuatu and Honiara Port.

It is currently en route to the port of Pago Pago, American Samoa.

Sailing at a speed of 11.0 knots, this cargo ship had arrived there last Saturday June 25, 2022.

The vessel South islander was built in 2007 and currently sailing under the flag of Japan.
