32 Cars Expected at First Meet & Greet Show
Fiji Motorsports Association is expecting 32 cars from Viti Levu to take part in the Meet & Greet show at Labasa Sangam Primary.
This is the first of its kind to be held in Labasa.
President Raizal Haniff said FMA will also invite a few Labasa car enthusiasts to be part of the Meet & Greet show.
“This meet and greet is to show people of Labasa what Fiji Motorsport industry is all about.
“Most people has never visited the drag events in Nanuku, thus this Meet&Greet gives them the opportunity to meet and greet the Race drivers and also see the vehicles which has participated in the events.
He said these car enthusiasts have not participated in FMA race events but can meetup and show their cars and exchange ideas.
“This meet and greet is to show people of Labasa what Fiji Motorsport industry is all about.
“Most people have never visited the drag events in Nanuku, thus this Meet & Greet show gives them the opportunity to meet and greet the Race drivers and also see the vehicles which has participated in the events.”
About the event
The Meet & Greet show will have no entry fees, to give members of the public an opportunity to meet FMA members and car racers.
“This idea is to influence future motorist with ideas and being competitive and create interest in the general public,” Mr Haniff said.
“Meet and greet is similar to a car show without the process of competition. It’s about fellow car enthusiast getting together and showing their creativity.”
The Meet & Greet will be held at Labasa Sangam Primary, on the September 24th from 10am to 10pm
