SITUATION: A weak trough of low pressure lies slow moving just southwest of the group and gradually moving eastwards. Associated cloud and showers expected to affect the eastern and central divisions till later today.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR THE FIJI GROUP

Some showers over the greater Suva/Nausori-Tailevu, eastern Ra, Naitasiri & Serua-Namosi, Sigatoka-Korolevu, northeast Macuata, Cakaudrove, southern Bua, Beqa and Vatulele, Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group. Isolated thunderstorms possible. Elsewhere, Partly cloudy with possible afternoon or evening showers especially over the interior. Moderate easterly winds. Fresh at times from today. Moderate seas.

OUTLOOK FOR SUNDAY

Cloudy periods with some showers over the greater Suva/ Nausori-Tailevu, eastern Ra, Naitasiri & Serua-Namosi, northeast Macuata, Cakaudrove, southern Bua, Lau and Lomaiviti groups. Elsewhere, fine apart from possible afternoon or evening showers especially about the interior.
