Authenticity plays an important role at Rosie Holidays Group
Fijian-owned business Rosie Holidays Group continues to make an impact in the local tourism industry.
As it was a double celebration at the ANZ Fiji Excellence Tourism Awards (FETA) over the weekend.
Ahura Resorts is the company operating and managing two of Fiji’s most popular and iconic resorts – Likuliku Lagoon Resort and Malolo Island.
Malolo Island Resorts received Accommodation Superior Award and Rosie Holidays received the Conference & Incentive (C&I) Operator of the Year.
The proud managing director Tony
Whitton said it was important to believe in social and economic wellbeing.
“It is a wonderful testimony to family-owned Fijian businesses that you can operate brands to participate in a highly competitive demanding industry like Tourism,” he said.
“Today to be able to take a stand with big international brands and today to really come out and celebrate excellence, and quality.
Mr Whitton added that at the heart of everything they do at Rosie Holidays through their events, inbound division or resort division in Likuliku and Malolo Islands, is that authenticity.
“Authenticity and the fact that we are a Fijian company, we celebrate all aspects of our amazing culture with the connection of tourism to the vanua and just to be able to celebrate all aspects of what we do either in replanting dry forests in Malolo or iguana programs or working with Higgins contracts and with other diverse areas,” he said.
He added that they are really committed to the 600 people whom it provides jobs to.
