Water rationing for Lami-Suva-Nausori begins

- FONUA TALEI Feedback: fonua.talei@fijisun.com.fj

Residents living along the Lami-Suva-Nausori corridor will undergo water rationing from 10am to 4am daily. In a statement, Water Authority of Fiji confirmed that operations will be carried out on valve operations to maintain reservoir levels. The exercise of water rationing is to minimise the impacts on service delivery.

“Water supply will normalise from 4am to 10am, six (6) hours daily, this is to allow customers to store sufficient amounts of water to sustain them until supply is restored – the water rationing exercise will continue until such time when the dry weather conditions ends,” the WAF stated.
