Vatu Talei “The Jewel” in progress
BSP Life’s investment project Vatu Talei “The Jewel” is progressing well in time despite the minor lapse posed by the unfavourable weather conditions.
The project co-owned by Fiji Airways and BSP Life is being developed by Richmond Pte Ltd (Richmond) and had its ground-breaking ceremony on August 19th, 2023. BSP Life managing director, Mr Michael Nacola confirmed Richmond invested $200 million in the project located on Denarau Island in Nadi.
Mr Nacola gave an update on the project and said the development promises to provide guests with an unforgettable luxurious experience while creating positive impacts for the tourism industry as a whole.
The Vatu Talei project is progressing well,” Mr Nacola said.
“We have done the ground breaking and have got a highly skilled team that is managing the project. “Unfortunately, we had a bit of the inclement weather but that doesn’t stop other parts of the project from progressing,” he said.
He said BSP Life’s policyholders with investment linked policies will also benefit from returns of the Vatu Talei by way of Bonuses. “By the end of this year, structures will go up.
“We are working towards to be on time as we had initially planned to complete the project.
“We want to make sure that we are on time and budget so that not only it comes in as the jewel in the tourism industry but it also starts to deliver returns to the policyholders,” he said.
He said the project is an example of the power of strategic partnerships who collaborate to promote economic progress and create a brighter future for Fiji and its people.
The Vatu Talei project is a clear demonstration of BSP Life’s determination to lead an ambitious venture that aligns with both the company’s and the nation’s aspirations.
