FIJI Water Flying Fijians prop Hereti Hetet is again putting his hands up to play All Blacks in a much-anticipated test match on July 19 at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, United States of America.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prop played the All Blacks in one of the two series in Dunedin in New Zealand.

“It will be a different atmosphere. I think obviously with rugby over there not probably its main sport but it’s a growing sport,” Hetet said.

“The Major League Rugby (MLR) should be good to pull crowd and fans, especially the Fiji and All Blacks fans drawing in good crowds from their home countries to watch.

Hetet added that it would be an amazing outing with plenty of talent to pick from for the Flying Fijian squad.

“And all the other opposition

players on the team Fijian players have been playing great all around the world. And especially this is the second sort of series, as we play the All Black. So, looking forward to seeing how it goes. And hopefully, it’s a regular fixture. “He said the team is in good hands as Mick Byrne has gone through the selection panel.

He has been with the Fijians now for three years I think he knows, and understands how we operate and get the best out of Fijian boys. Hetet added that they need to fix their scrum woes after what happened in the match against the Rebels.

“I think it probably just dropped our standards. And our discipline wasn’t great.

“Moving forward against the Hurricanes; it is another tough, tough opposition as they are undefeated.

“What we just need to focus on is what we can do better and cut down on the silly errors and penalties that we have been giving away. That would help us with how we want to play the game.

“I think this is our first game in Suva too, so I know that we didn’t have many games in Suva and hopefully that sells out.

It has been awesome to have all the fans roaring on the first night game too. Very special and it won’t be too hot. It’s awesome to meet a lot of new people here who are our sponsors, great people, and just a fun event to be a part of – it will be a great day.”
