Blockbusting Flying Fijians centre Josua Tuisova made his return to the French Top 14 competition after undergoing injury rehab for the past six-months.

Playing for new club Racing 92, Tuisova dotted down a try into the second minute of the match against Bayonne where they went down 37-28. Playing alongside him was winger Vinaya Habosi.

“I’m happy to be back,” he told the Racing website.

“I’m so thankful to the club’s physio, medical staff and physical trainers for taking care of me and got me back into shape.”

Tuisova injured his knee while playing for the Flying Fijians at last year’s Rugby World Cup where they were facing England in the quarterfinal.

Also back from injury and playing for Bayonne was Tusiova’s RWC team-mate and tighthead prop Luke Tagi.

Super rub Jiuta Wainiqolo scored a try for Toulon in the 63rd minute as they beat Lyon 3024 with Semi Radradra copping a yellow card in the 64th minute. Clermont had Peceli Yato at No.8 as they romped to a 35-28 win over USA Perpignan. Winger Tavite Veredamu scored a try for Perpignan while Alivereti Duguivalu was at centre with Apisai Naqaliva being yellow carded.

Castres pipped Montpellier 2726 with Vilimoni Botitu at centre while winger Filipo Nakosi was sent to the bin. Castres had to bring in their super subs of Leone Nakarawaqa, Adrea Cocagi and Josua Raisuqe for the one-point win. Flying Fijian backrower Lekima Tagitagivalu started off the bench for Pau as they walloped Oyonnax 39-17.
