250gms prawns, peeled, de­veined 1 medium onion, chopped ¼ tea­spoon red chilli pow­der 1 green chilli, chopped ¼ cup pea be­san 2 tea­spoon rice or corn flour 2 cloves gar­lic, finely chopped Co­rian­der leaves, chopped 1 tea­spoon lemon juice Salt to taste Oil as re­quired

1. Wash and dry the prawns well. 2. Trans­fer them to a bowl. 3. Add the be­san, rice flour, gar­lic, onions, red chilli pow­der, green chill­ies, co­rian­der leaves and salt. 4. Add lemon juice and 2 ta­ble­spoon of oil. 5. Mix well and coat prawns. 6. Heat oil for deep fry­ing in a non­stick pan. 7. Fry the pre­pared pako­ras for 5 min­utes or un­til golden brown. 8. Re­move and drain ex­cess oil. 9. Serve with chut­ney or minted yo­ghurt
