FLOTSAM AND JETSAM

BEACHCOMBER heard this from a usual scribe. We were watching the Hong Kong 7s on TV. One of the boys was getting anxious when a Fijian player didn’t pass the ball and it was stolen from him and the opposition scored.

He stood up, yelled and cursed the player!

We reminded him it was only a replay.

Him: “I know.”

Such is the passion for 7s Fiji fans have that they even go berserk over the replay.
