Positional change

-

FIJIAN Drua head coach Senirusi Seruvakula has made four changes to his run on side for Saturday’s clash against Sydney Rays at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The front row will remain unchanged with props Joeli Veitayaki and Mosese Ducivaki to lock in with young and in-form hooker, Tevita Ikanivere.

Ulaiasi Lawavou returns to the starting line-up after missing the trip to Sydney last week and will be on the flanks with skipper Eremasi Radrodro.

Serupepeli Vularika returns to the half-back role combining with Caleb Muntz.

Ifereimi Tovilevu will partner Cyril Reece in the midfield, speedsters Nacanieli Narekuva and Jiuta Wainiqolo will be on the wings while Enele Malele retains his position at full-back.

“We need to play smart rugby and win the game if we want to compete for a place in the semi-final,” Seruvakula said.

“We need to bring more disciplined physicality into the game and give it our best. “We cannot afford to give penalties away against a tough team this weekend.”

The Fijian Drua team faces Sydney Rays at 2pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow. After the Drua vs Rays match, fans can sit back and watch the Flying Fijians vs Australia game live at 4.45pm on the television screen at the ground.
