Children remain priority for Joseva

EDUCATING his three children remains Joseva Tuivuniwai’s priority despite losing his employment with the Fiji Sugar Corporation.

The 43-year-old had worked for the company for 17 years and received $8200 as final payment for his services.

He intends to use this money to build a new house for his family.

“I have an uncle at Navolau Village who is willing to give me a piece of land to build a house,” Mr Tuivuniwai said.

He is married and has three children.

The eldest is 15 years and two others are in Years 5 and 2.

“My kids are still in school and educating them is important.

“I have also planted some yaqona on Kadavu, on a land owned by my wife that will mature next year which I hope to use wisely towards my family.”

He said he did not expect to get a job immediately in Rakiraki.
