Local boy ready

LOCAL-BASED Mosese Voka said he was fortunate to have been in camp with some of our best players as it had helped him improve his game.

Voka is one of the four local boys named by coach John McKee in the squad to play, Australia today.

“We have trained together for a few months and we’re enjoying it on the field and in camp,” Voka said.

“Our coaches have been working very hard trying to get the message across.

“Everything we’ve been doing during training is all focused towards the game on Saturday (today).

“We have learnt a lot from our brothers playing in big clubs overseas.

“We have managed to blend together well during training and it has been a great help to us the local players.

“What we learnt will assist us in the year ahead,” he said

Fiji will play Australia at 4.45pm today.
