Tough game against Wales looms

- By ERONI TUINUKU

AS the much anticipated games for the Flying Fijians settles around the corner, against Georgia and Wales to determine our fate in the next Rugby World Cup, one has his own reasons to doubt the outcome.

Former television and radio rugby commentator, Graham Eden believes otherwise for the Flying Fijians after he witnessed the performance of Wales.

Eden, before the game yesterday, said Fiji had no chance in surviving the wrath of Wales and probably lucky to outrun Georgia.

“I don’t think they got a chance. “I’m not saying they will not win against Wales but Wales has been performing at its best for along period of time. They were at the top 10-12 years ago and now they ready to show their worth and I don’t think Fiji would be able to beat them,” said Eden.

As Fiji gears up against Wales next week, Eden hopes they do not make the same mistakes they did against Uruguay. Eden said McKee would do better than the last performance against Uruguay.

“He has to … he has to, he would’ve learned even himself that you never know what could be sprung upon them and we have to be prepared because by all means some of the workhorses start to run out of puff than we bring in the better players to replace them,” he said.
