Walkway revamp for school
STUDENTS at Naseakula District School have a refurbished walkway thanks to Bank South Pacific.
Last week, representatives from the bank visited the school and assured students of their continued support.
BSP’s general manager retail Ravindra Singh reminded the students that their investment reflected the bank’s commitment to assisting students.
The refurbished walkway was initially constructed by the bank nine years ago.
“Since entering Fiji in 2009, BSP has completed numerous community projects in the North which has boosted the standard of living for its residents.”
Mr Singh said projects had focused on the development of school infrastructure, sports facilities, civic amenities and installation of solar power supply systems.
“This year, we have been revisiting project sites that were completed over the years and Naseakula became a priority when our Labasa branch manager Eka Takayawa raised concerns about the OHS risks posed by this structure.
Mr Singh said BSP community projects were identified by branches across the country before funds were invested.
