Award for island resort
PLANTATION Island Resort has been named the Best Fiji Islands Family Hotel or Resort by a popular kids travel magazine.
The publication Out & About with Kids Magazine named the resort among Fiji's best after a three month voting process.
According to the resort, more than 120,000 people voted across 44 categories over the past three months for the Out & About with Kids 9th annual awards.
“We are so proud of this achievement,” said director of sales and marketing, Akshay Singh.
“This award is a testament to all the hard work that our people have put in to improve the resort over the last five years.
“We have beaten some fantastic Fijian island resorts to this (accolade), so we are truly honoured.
“Out & About with Kids magazine is one of the leading Australian magazines with a distribution of more than 400,000, many Australian parents look to the magazine to decide on activities and experiences for the whole family.”
The island getaway has been a staple for families looking to escape the busy mainland.
