Smarter drivers

THE LTA chief executive officer was quoted as saying that drivers are getting smarter and slowing down when they approach speed cameras.

It would be better if he said that the drivers have started to follow speed limits. That would have showed the public that LTA was doing a good job. May I please remind the chief executive officer of LTA that the cameras were never meant to be a money-making thing but to help reduce speeding issues.
