Caucau for Wales match
ADI Asenaca Alowesi Wellington Kadre Caucau’s writing skills has scored her the biggest dream in her life.
Next week she’s going to be known around the world when she carries the ball onto the ground when the Flying Fijians play Wales in the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
The St Anne’s Primary School Year Seven student is from Nakorovou Village, Vuna, Taveuni. She is a relative of Semi Radradra. She was selected out of 800 participants for the RWC essay writing competition.
“I wanted to be a role model to all girls that rugby is anybody’s game,” she said. Her mum Naomi Caucau said she was born during the Wellington 7s in 2007. “She is a great supporter of rugby, she’s also related to two Flying Fijians,” Naomi said.
