Flying Fijians coach John McKee has named a very strong line-up to face Wales at the Rugby World Cup in Japan tonight.

FLYING Fijians coach John McKee has brought in hardworking forward Viliame Mata in the only change to the team to face Six Nations champion Wales in the crucial pool match tonight.

Mata replaces Peceli Yato at number eight and McKee eyes Yato to have a big impact when he comes on later in the game.

“We have some very good backrowers and whichever way we play them there is always a good backrower on the park,” McKee said

“Mata comes back from a calf strain against Australia and the plan against Georgia was to limit his game time and he came through that game without further problems and has been training really well and earned his place in the starting line-up.

“We’re looking at Peceli Yato to have a very big impact off the bench,” McKee said.

McKee says Wales is one of the strongest sides in terms of the breakdown and the big battle tonight will be in the breakdowns.

“Wales will attack the ball on the carries and try to win turnovers and Wales is a much tougher challenge than Georgia,” he said.

The starting fifteen against Wales: Campese Ma’afu, Sam Matavesi, Manasa Saulo, Tevita Cavubati, Leone Nakarawa, Dominiko Waqaniburotu (captain), Semi Kunatani, Mata, Frank Lomani, Ben Volavola, Semi Radradra, Levani Botia, Waisea Nayacalevu, Joshua Tuisova, Kini Murimurivalu.

Reserves: Mesulame Dolokoto, Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai, Apisalome Ratuniyarawa, Peceli Yato, Nikola Matawalu, Jale Vatubua, Josh Matavesi.
