ONE of the largest commercial law firms in the country, Munro Leys, have appointed Ronal Singh and Rajnil Krishna to its partnership, effective from January 1, 2020.
According to the law firm, Mr Singh is a well-known litigation lawyer who joined Munro Leys in May 2012 from another firm.
It said in his time at Munro Leys Mr Singh had successfully carried a huge caseload in a wide range of litigation, including in a number of high-profile court cases.
“I am pleased and proud that I have been offered this opportunity.
“I am thankful to the support from everyone at Munro Leys and my clients. I look forward to the next stage of my career with Munro Leys and to continue working with all of our clients,” said Mr Singh.
Mr Krishna meanwhile, joined Munro Leys in January 2009 and works as a corporate and commercial lawyer in the areas of foreign investment, capital markets and taxation, in the last of these both as an adviser and a court advocate.
“Since I joined Munro Leys in 2009 I am extremely pleased with how my career has developed.
“I am very excited to now join the Munro Leys partnership.
“I look forward to continue serving our clients and contributing to the growth of the firm,” said Mr Krishna.
Partner Nicholas Barnes said the new appointments would add strength and depth to Munro Leys and enable further growth beyond its current number of 20 lawyers.
He said importantly for the law firm, two new partners would continue the development of Munro Leys’ next generation of leadership, giving them confidence in the firm's future as trusted advisers to its wide range of local and international clients.
