AMA to buy 85pc

THE Agriculture Marketing Authority will purchase 85 per cent of total proceeds of sales from vegetables and crops supplied by farmers in Nadarivatu. Minister for Agriculture Dr Mahendra Reddy explained that the balance of 15 per cent from the proceeds would be placed in a trust account maintained by the AMA. He said the agreement between the AMA and the farmers could increase their reinvestment contribution.
