Tourism market

VILLAGERS on Kadavu have been urged to venture into eco-tourism using their forests as a major tourism attraction site. Speaking in Dravuni last week, Ministry of Forests’ forest guard Lekima Bose said since islands within the province hosted hotels, having eco-parks would complement the available tourism market. Mr Bose said therefore villages would need to plant more trees to make forest parks.
