Year 13 students sit exam

THE first external examination for high school students, the Fiji Year 13 Examination, started yesterday.

According to the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts, a total of 8452 students will be sitting for their exams within the next two weeks.

Students will be occupying 163 examination centres around the country.

While officiating as chief guest at the Yat Sen Secondary School prizegiving in Suva last Friday, Education Minister Rosy Akbar encouraged Year 13 students to work hard because they had the responsibility of carrying their nation forward.
