Coach Rawaqa names team

AFTER conducting fitness tests around the country and two trials, Vanua team head coach Ifereimi Rawaqa has selected a 36-member extended squad to prepare for two matches against the New Zealand Heartland next month.

The 2019 Vodafone Vanua team coach will be assisted by former 7s and 15s rep Sireli Naqelevuki.

They will be supported by other Fiji Rugby Union coaches as they prepare for the two matches.

Players who have been selected are to continue with daily training environment (DTE) on training sessions today and tomorrow before a weekend camp on Thursday to Saturday in Sigatoka.

Vodafone Vanua 36-member extended squad: loose head props: Isoa Vasukilulu, Nacanieli Kuwe, Viliame Cawaru. Hookers are Ilaisa Leca, Pio Matamosi and Maikeli Sivo. Tight head props are Ratu Epeli Bulinavesi, Taniela Cokanasiga. Loose head locks are Jese Maroia and Viliame Nacama. Tight head locks are Nemani Biu and Ilikimi Sivo. Blindside flankers are Saimoni Rauga and Uraia Vuluma.

Open side flanker is Daniele Lawakeli. Number eights are Elia Ratulove and Ratu Agavito Sauvakarua. Halfbacks are Kelepi Komailevuka, Peni Radarodro and Samisoni Ravudi. First five-eighths are Saula Levatia, Livai Vota and Manueli Dabedabe. Blineside wingers are Mosese Bulivorovoro, Naba Sovanakavika and James Kevin.

Inside centres are Tevita Ravato and Lepani Tuivanuavou. Outside centres are Kini Tora, Lepani Banuve and Ron Kuruilase. Openside wingers are Etuate Nagalu, Metuisela Bogitini and Mikaele Ravukatavu. Full backs are Nesiasi Moala and Jona Sawailau.
