Marijuana consumption
ONE can catch a direct flight to mainland US and go eat at restaurants that are licensed to serve both food and marijuana products. Cannabis cafes are opening up everywhere and one has got to book in advance to reserve a seat. Medical marijuana is readily available and legal in Australia, Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Lithuania, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Uruguay and the United States. Uruguay, Canada and 11 states in US have fully legalised the consumption and sale of recreational marijuana nationwide. Georgia and South Africa have legalised consumption, but not legal sales.
A policy of limited enforcement has also been adopted in many countries where the sale of marijuana is tolerated at licensed establishments. Marijuana has been decriminalised in many states in US, Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Ecuador, Cambodia, Laos, Belgium, Spain, Czech Republic, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, and Australia. Many other countries are currently in the process of decriminalising recreational marijuana.
The world is changing when it comes to marijuana consumption yet Fiji is still sending people to jail? What’s confusing is that alcohol and tobacco are by far worse drugs for human health, while marijuana doesn’t even come close. What’s stopping me from getting prescription marijuana from one of the above countries and returning with it to Fiji?
What’s stopping me from taking a holiday to one of the above countries to use marijuana recreationally?
