‘Sea cable ready by 2020’

PORT MORESBY - The Coral Sea Cable System will be ready for use by January 2020, says DataCo general manager commercial services Une O’Ome.

Mr O’Ome was giving an update on the current status of the current projects run by PNG DataCo in the country.

He said the cable was laid sometime in September and October with cables physically laid at the bottom of the sea while currently they are working on the electronics at the three ends (Port Moresby, Sydney and Honiara) of the cable. PACNEWS
