Solemn ceremony

FAMILY members of former servicemen and women gathered at the National War Memorial site at Veiuto in Suva to remember fallen troops. They were among members of the discipline­d forces with various diplomatic corps and ministers who commemorat­ed the auspicious event.

A minute of silence was observed at the event followed by the laying of wreaths in a solemn ceremony led by the President Jioji Konrote, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimaram­a with members of the discipline­d forces and the diplomatic corps.
