Beach clean-up

THE Steering Fiji Women Seafarers Association conducted a beach clean-up campaign along the Suva Point foreshore yesterday. An executive director of the association, Ofa Qarase, said yesterday’s activity did not only involve cleaning but collating data on plastic picking as well. “We are planning to do major clean ups later on where we will rope in WWF and the Ministry for Environment,” she said.
