Proud Fiji 7s fan

THE Los Angeles and Vancouver 7s have been done and dusted, so let’s get up and move on. In any sports you win some and you lose some, but I am extremely proud of our Fiji 7s rugby team and would like to tell the critics like Ronnie Chang of Martintar, Nadi to take a step back and look at the positives.

You say it is hard to remain a proud Fijian after Fiji 7s’ poor performance.

Our gladiators have conquered the world sevens title, the World Cup, the most anticipated Hong Kong 7s title five years in a row and more importantly, the only 7s team in the whole world to win Olympics gold.

My million dollar question to you is — Has any other sport in Fiji come close to their achievements?

You are indeed a very bad loser. I am always a proud Fijian and will remain a proud Fijian and proud of our Fiji 7s team.
