Bad weather cancels league
ADVERSE weather forced the cancellation of the Vodafone Premier League fixture between Ba and Nadi at the Fiji Football Academy ground at Namosau yesterday.
The match did not go on as Fiji FA competition manager Amitesh Pal said the ground was not marked because of the rain prior to schedule.
”Inclement weather condition caused the postponed match to a further date,” he said.
“Ba has to play four games to get even par with other teams.
“We resume round six on April 5.”
VPL dates and venues: March 18, Lautoka to host Ba at the Churchill Park, 7pm on Wednesday. March 21, Ba to host Suva at Fiji FA Academy, 3pm, Saturday March 25, Nadi to host Ba on Wednesday, 7pm at Prince Charles Park. March 29, Ba to host Navua at Fiji FA Academy ground, 3pm.
