Suva netball picks new officials

THE NewWorld Suva Netball Association has selected a new committee for the 2020 netball season.

The SNA held its general meeting at the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee boardroom.

The new president is Gina Lasaqa Lagakali and the vice-president is Moape Vu of Ablaze Heart Netball.

The secretary is Dominiko Tabuaura of Cawaci Alumni Netball and treasurer Lily Erasito of Ablaze Heart Netball.

The committee members are Sikeli Tuwai – Grasshoppers, Tuimasi Mea

– Alumni, Manu B – Alumni, Vitalina Lalawa – Tagimoucia, Sitiveni Ratuere – Alumnae, Marika Lagavakarua – Tagimoucia, Inoke Vinaka – USP, Litia Naiteqe - Heart & Soul, Sairusi Nabuli – Tagimoucia, Ateca Jili - Lomaiviti , Georgina B – Lomaiviti.

The umpires co-ordinator is Peter Tutuvula - Alumnae Netball.

Outgoing president Timaima Vulimailaucala in a previous interview said their main goal was to develop the young girls to one day represent the country.

Vulimailaucala thanked the outgoing committee members for their efforts and great work and said they would continue to show their support.
