48 TEAMS TO PLAY IN MARIST 7S

FORTY-EIGHT teams have been confirmed in this year's 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

"The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s committee congratula­tes all teams who have made the final journey to the mecca of 7s to defend with honour," said Marist Brothers Rugby Club president Lawrence Tikaram.

He said this year promised to be another sevens extravagan­za as the best sevens talent would be on showcase at the ANZ National Stadium.

"This year is no different as we have a wide geographic­al spread of teams who have come to expose the very best of raw talent.

“The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s the heart of sevens rugby in Fiji continues to be the epicenter of the battle ground of champions for the last 44 years.”

The 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held over three days at the ANZ Stadium starting on Thursday March 19 to Saturday 21.
