Here's an unusual opportunity – an organisation with money to put up which is just looking for a taker. The Fiji Hotel Association board has decided to sponsor a girl in this year's Miss Hibiscus contest in Suva but has not yet found a suitable candidate. The sponsorship involves putting up money for the contestant's clothes, travel, possibly accommodation and so forth. "We'd love to have a young lady come forward to be our candidate for Miss Hibiscus," association secretary George Crutchfield said yesterday. "She can be from anywhere in Fiji although we would prefer that she come from the tourist industry. All she has to do is contact me and we will consider her."  Police yesterday drivers to dip their headlights when necessary while driving at night saying many drivers did not do this and blinded oncoming drivers.  The scene was the monthly meeting of the Fiji Visitors' Bureau and the topic of discussion was the possibility of courses at the Derrick Institute for waiters and hotel workers. Someone suggested they should be trained in Hawaii at an already established centre.
