Woman’s death classified as murder

THE death of a woman whose body was found motionless in the top flat of a building in Lami has been classified as murder. This was confirmed by police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro yesterday. The body of the 35-year-old woman was found by firefighters after attending to a fire that broke out on Tuesday night. Ms Naisoro said firefighters attempted CPR on the woman but failed to revive her. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. Ms Naisoro said investigations into the matter continue.
