THE news (FT 24/07) from the director of Social Welfare, Rupeni Fatiaki that children were”throwing out” their elderly parents is shocking.

What has happened to our humanity? What has happened to the way of life where the family is the core of everything.

What has happened to the love and care for one another?

What has happened to our education system whereby people get educated and learn to live a good decent life.

What could be the main cause of children throwing the parents out.
