Budget debate

SOCIAL Democratic Liberal Party leader Sitiveni Rabuka says he regrets the timing of the SGM (special general meeting) because it comes in the middle of their preparations for the parliamentary debate on the 2020-2021 National Budget which the whole nation is looking forward to (FT 24/07).

I’m certainly not looking forward to it because I know that it’ll just be a waste of everybody’s time and effort.

While it is procedure, I already know that this budget will be passed as I don’t believe any suggestions or amendments will be tolerated.

The ayes have it all day long!
