Obituary — John Lewis

HE dedicated his life protecting human rights and was at the forefront of the civil rights movement.

John Robert Lewis a longtime congressman and renowned civil rights activist died last Friday with stage four pancreatic cancer.

A report by edition.cnn.com reported that the late Mr Lewis was a democrat who served the US representative for Georgia’s 5th Congressional District for more than three decades.
