Tuilakeba was the president of NRU in 2008 when the side held the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy and lifted the Digicel Cup which is now known as the Skipper Cup. He said Yasawa moving up the ranks to the major division was a big achievement.

“I want to congratulate Yasawa for coming up to the Skipper Cup,” Tuilakeba said.

“It is a milestone achievement for the YRU and the people of Yasawa.

“This will surely expose a lot of talents from the island group making pathways for players who have Yasawa at heart.”
