Celebration of Fiji Day

I BELIEVE there is a budget of $250,000 allocated for this year’s Fiji’s 50th Independence Day Celebration. Given the pandemic, it’s only proper that we postpone this national event to 2021 or 2022 just like the deferment of the Tokyo Olympics.

Allocated budget can be given to our Ministry of Women, Social Welfare and Poverty Alleviation to raise more awareness on issues affecting our women and girls including rape in Fiji or a national forum where all stakeholders meet under one platform.
