Elections focus

THERE is great anticipation from senior members of SODELPA in their preparation for the next general elections due two years from now. Given the age of many of them, wouldn’t it be more realistic for them to be preparing to meet their maker in the next two years instead of preparing for an election?

I mean, what have they done in the last two years and what will they do in the next two years while they wait? For those supporters who are waiting with them with bated breath, do they really think this mob practising ‘democracy in disarray’ will change their lives?

Doesn’t give me much confidence in the mental capacity of many Fijians. From reports in yesterday’s papers, this mob cannot even organise an SGM properly.
