Cane payment

SUGAR Ministry permanent secretary Yogesh Karan says farmers will receive $85 per tonne as cane payment for 2020 crop. He said $70 per tonne would be made over three payments in the 20202021 financial year and the remaining $15 per tonne would be paid out in the 2021-2022 financial year.
