Organisation provides lunch for students
AN organisation provided lunch to 250 students at the Rakiraki Methodist School last week as part of its initiative to feed students at non-Sangam schools.
Rakiraki Sangam executives handed over the lunch packs to school manager Inoke Wainiqolo.
‘”For the students’ brains to work they need to be fed properly and we are thankful to Sangam for bringing lunch for our kids,” Mr Wainiqolo said.
Mr Wainiqolo said the majority of parents were facing financial hardships and the assistance provided by the Rakiraki Sangam would help lessen the burden on them.
“TISI Sangam doesn’t differentiate on religion and race and we are thankful they came to our school,” said Mr Wainiqolo.
Sangam Rakiraki also provided 50 food packs to the Rakiraki Special School last week.
