New in the market
FMF Foods Ltd this week launched its new products in the Pacific market as a tribute to the resilience and spirit of Fiji, the Pacific and its people.
Managing director Ram Bajekal said the decision to launch new products into the market at a time like this was not an easy one.
According to Mr Bajekal these products were in the pipeline for some time, but the company had to decide on the timing of the launch of the products.
He said in the end, what helped the decision was recognition that right now what Fiji needed was more optimism and increased employment rather than inaction and allowing gloom to take over.
In a statement from the company, it was stated that FMF was confident that consumers would enjoy these locally made biscuits which are fresh, tasty and affordable to every Fijian.
It added that when Fijians
picked a locally made product they directly helped create employment in Fiji which would provide livelihoods and also help develop the economy.
“We at FMF are conscious of the challenges that people in Fiji are facing and pledge to keep the wheels in our factories turning as we continue to launch new locally made products,” he said.
Following are the products launched by FMF:
(1) FMF Gold Super Premium Rice (available in 2kg, 4kg, 10kg). The rice is from the finest rice paddies in Vietnam.
(2) Fine Fare Milk Coffee an FMF favourite, with attractive new packaging and a new recipe.
(3) Shortbread Cream and Shortbread Fingers, butter rich and cream rich biscuits.
