Suva to miss key players

- By NOA BIUDOLE

SUVA will miss some of its key players in its last round of Skipper Cup against Namosi today.

With the senior players opting to represent their clubs in today’s Escott Shield semi-finals, manager Nemani Tuifagalele said they were confident of releasing senior players to their respective clubs with the top spot on the table already secured.

“The Escott Shield competition is over 100 years old and is the prized silverware of the Suva Rugby Union,” Tuifagalele said.

“So it is understandable that players want to represent their clubs in the semi-final so we have released them and are also confident that those who fill the positions in the Suva jersey can produce results.”

“Win or loss the outcome wont change and we remain on top.
