THE Labasa football side will not leave any stone unturned when they run out in the second semifinal of the 2020 Vodafone Fiji FACT this Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa.

The Galaxy Hotels and Apartments/ Powerwise Electrical (NZ)sponsored side and hosts will face national league winners Vinz Workz Suva in this clash.

Coach Ronil Lal said they would need to perform a level higher than they did all season long to overcome a quality Suva side.

“Suva is a good team, they have good players,:” he said.

“They recently won the league and I think that’s a good challenge again for us, maybe another step up, another level up from this game. I believe the boys will do wonders during the semi-final against Suva. I’m not promising anything but we’ll give our best shot.”

Lal said they would be playing for their fans at home.

“We know our fans are behind us and they will boost us and at the same time they want victory from us so we will do our best,”

The Labasa schoolteacher is also urging their fans to rally behind the team as they aim to win the Fiji FACT trophy on their home ground.

The decision on the semi-finals timing will released later.

In the first semi-final Rewa will face Nadi and will it be decided today whether the match will continue with the second half or it will restarted.

The match was abandoned in the second half with Nadi holding a 1-0 lead.
