Prasad shows class to rule snooker race
RAHIL Prasad showed his class to take out the Lion Beer sponsored Nausori Open Snooker Championship on Sunday.
It was the battle of the brothers in the final at the Nausori Club with Rahil taking on his younger sibling Sahil.
Rahil won the fixture 3-2 to walk away $2000 richer, the biggest prize purse on offer in the sport in the country this year.
In the semi-final, Rahil defeated Deepak Jai Ram while Sahil downed Vikrant Sharma.
Defending champion Jiten Prasad was ousted in the quarter-final by Ram.
Rahil dedicated the victory to his family, especially his father Yogen Prasad, a former Fiji champion. Both Rahil and Sahil have represented Fiji at the Oceania Championships.
