Fiji FACT finals

FIJI Football Associatio­n chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf yesterday confirmed the Rewa/Nadi match would resume from where it was abandoned when the Fiji FACT continues this weekend at Subrail Park in Labasa.

Mr Yusuf said the decision was made in consultati­on with the Oceania Football Confederat­ion (OFC).

“Fiji FA would like to clarify that the initial board decision was correct after consultati­on with the Oceania Football Confederat­ion,” he said.

“As a result, the Rewa/Nadi match will resume from the second half with all cards, scores, etc, intact.

Yusuf confirmed the semi-finals will be played this Saturday while the third/ fourth place playoff and the grand final will be played on Sunday.

Nadi will face Rewa in the first semifinal before hosts Labasa play Suva in the second match.

Nadi are the defending champions of the Fiji FACT.
