FLOTSAM AND JETSAM

BEACHCOMBER heard this from a colleague who frequented a taxi stand for a bowl of jungle juice most evenings.

One particularly over-friendly cabbie was rather sombre during a recent visit.

“What’s wrong bro?” journo asked. Cabbie broke down and wailed: “Daddy is gone.”

“Oh no, how did he die?” journo asked with concern.

“He didn’t die, he ran away with my house girl!” was the cabbie’s belligerent reply.
