LTA delivers relief packs
SIX mobile units were deployed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to assist communities affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa in the Northern Division. LTA CEO Samuel Simpson said the cyclone had added to the difficulties many Fijians were already facing because of COVID-19. The authority stated the operation started on December 26 and would continue for as long as there was a need. They delivered food, water and other essential relief supplies to vulnerable communities in Bua, Cakaudrove, Macuata, Savusavu and Taveuni.
